    I was looking at these watches that sold at auction in 2009 and thinking if only....


    A Speedmaster that went to the moon for $23,900 inc. premium

    The last loose DON bezel I bought was £58.99 on 31 Oct 2012

    @fskywalker I really do think the Ron Evans Speedmaster could get to $1 million today. The John Young more like 60-100k? So I am going Steel.

    Not quite. It was resold by Christie’s in 2015 for $245,000USD.

    If he had practiced with the engraving tool a bit before hand, who knows what it would have sold for.

    Oh wow, times have changed.
    I guess one has to factor in the great recession of 2008. And inflation. But still... wow.
