Just came across this: https://images.nasa.gov If this has been shared already I ask forgiveness from all OF. If not make a coffee, sit down and enjoy. Let the Speedmaster spotting commence!
Did a fair amount of 'research' there already. I vote to dedicate this thread to any interesting things found through your hours of perusing this library...
There’s also a few great Instagram accounts that specialize in reposting a few interesting images each day. Nice to see in the feed.
Interesting fact: NASA doesn't have digital versions of ALL their photos ever taken... The past few years some vintage photograph collectors have cooperated with the space agency and scanned rare photos which weren't available in the NASA database... even today many photos aren't available online ! A few examples: 1965 weight & balance tests for Gemini III ( Grissom and Young in the balance chair ) 1970 Apollo 13 crew at the independent island Samoa ( Swigert's Rolex clearly visible ) ... some collectors have these in time-period hard copies ... and share via: https://moonwatchuniverse.tumblr.com/archive
About time everybody knows this as the 55th anniversary is closely approaching Both Gemini IV astronauts, Edward White and James McDivitt wore each 2 Speedmaster chronographs... so easy-to-remember: On Gemini IV four NASA-issued Omega Speedmaster chronographs were exposed to outer space due to the open cockpît lay-out of Gemini capsule . . McDivitt wore a Speedmaster on each wrist while White wore 2 speedmasters on his left forearm as his right arm would work with Zipgun . High resolution scans even show the reflection of both Speedmaster chronographs in Ed White's Golden visor (Photo: NASA)

Well..it's the NASA Archive, not the Omega Museum...be creative. Top Hint: search e.g. for Richard Gordon rather than for Caliber 321
Interesting fact: November 1964, astronaut John Young was the first to test if this EVA was possible in the large vacuum altitude pressure chamber at McDonnell January 1965 Ed White & Jim McDivitt started Standup EVA-training in the NASA Boeing 707 KC-135 "vomit comet" March 1965 After Gemini III was completed successfully, NASA decided the Standup-EVA would become a full-Exit EVA for Gemini IV June 1965
... Obsessed is a word much used in the watch- & collectors-world but it's a word the lay use to describe the dedicated
