Hi all, I would really like help in understanding more about the below watch? From checking the archives it looks like a Seamaster but would love to understand why it looks different to other models. I believe it originally had a black strap and has 1342 as the reference number on the reverse. It has been inscribed on the reverse as a leaving gift for my grandfather in 1982. Any help appreciated, i'm keen to unearth some family history! Thanks
Omega made many watches which were not part of a specific line, Seamaster, Constellation, etc. This is simply one of them, no big mystery. The number 1342 on the back refers to the type of quartz movement fitted to the watch, caliber 1342.
