Mystery UAE Malachite dial

Good day every one !

I manage to get an uncommon Omega dial. Made of Malachite stone with the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence coats on it. I simply love the dial and couldn't resist to pull the trigger on this one.

Now I'm facing the challenge to find the watch this dial is going on.

Measurements appears to be 27mmx24mm. Dial feet are positioned at 12h and 28mins.
The dial is stamped MERUSA in the back.

Shape wise I managed to find many Omega cal620 looking very similar but dial feet do not match cal620/625.
So far I found that cal711/712 do match the feet position but I was enable to find a definitive case that would fit or others exact shape dials. I would expect with a Malachite dial to go with a gold case ?

If anyone as ever seen some similar dials and knows what ref it is going on please let me know !

And now some pictures

Not to be a killjoy, but are you sure that is made from actual malachite? Your closeup of the eagle sure looks like offset halftone printing to me.

It reads MERUSA at the back, not MEDUSA. Should be a dial producer in Biele, SUI.
To your question - I have no clue what model this dial could possibly fit.

Try to ask the UAE Ministry of Defense. They could get you detailed answer.

Thanks, pure typo here.
I will try to see with the OF community first but if nothing comes up I might give it a shot. But I have high doubts they keep track of this

I agree with printed. Malachite would be difficult to texture like the first photos show.

This is an example of pieces of Malachite about the size of a watch dial.

Another example

Malachite should be smooth if used for jewelry or decorative purposes .. no ?

Could be yes, that was my first though also. I wouldn't mind much as it would be less fragile than Malachite.

I found other identical texture dial from omega, like this one:

Maybe it's a layer of ground up malachite? There is "reconstituted" malachite for use in jewelry and other things. We have a kitchen knife where the spacer between handle and blade was made from this material.

I agree with with the observations here. It is a printed image of malachite, the regular matrix of dots is the giveaway. A real malachite/azurite/lapis dial would be very cool, brittle but cool.
