They are still available, just the people that get them have raised prices.
Where do you find them?

I thin the Mitsu is probably one of Omega's best dials they have done. Just exquisite.

In general I think we will find supplies of these special dials harder and harder to find, and those that are available will be at ever higher prices. Get 'em while you can.

Does anyone know if the Mitsukoshi Dial and Hands can be fitted to the 2021 Model Speedmasters (310.30.42.50.01.001 etc)

thanks

I got my Mitsukoshi mod many years ago. I paid less for the complete watch than what Swiss Ltd charges for the dial alone these days👍

I had a Speedmaster modified with Mitsukoshi dial and hands. I bought the parts from a private seller. Here is what my records show:

Mitsukoshi dial (part number: 064WK3052031)
Mitsukoshi hands (part number: 067WZ00328)

My photography skills are pretty much nonexistent, but here is mine:

Since August 2021 Omega doesn't sell these special dials anymore except on an exchange basis, so these mods will be harder (and more expensive) to do.

Makes me happy to know I pulled the trigger when I did. I'd been on the fence about doing this for a couple of years. It seemed like dials and hands were always being offered up, so I didn't feel the pressure to move fast.

I love my Mitsu modded speedy. I used Snoopy hands on mine to help with the contrast against the white dial. The watch just goes so well with different straps. Just switched out to a dark brown leather one.

Just bought the below which is also a mod as the original is well out of budget! Loving it so far. Came with full box, papers, original hands and dial etc. Cost me twice as much as what a Mituskoshi mod would have been a couple of years ago but I don't see these getting any cheaper in future so it was going to be now or never

This dial in all its configurations, Mitsukoshi, Apollo 11 35th and Tokyo 2020, always looks good. Omega uses it sparingly, and now with them halting general availability of these dials they will become more desirable and harder to come by.

I did it a few years ago, with an Italian Military dial and hands, plus a red Alaska Project chrono second hand and a blue Gemini 4 bezel, completed with a straight writing back and shark skin bracelet.

A great contrast to normal Speedies. I’m very fond of it.

A nice, different mod with that dial.
