I am considering a trade to focus on Rolex. So I have an ed white and I am hoping to find something in the same price range. Some cash add in both way could be discussed. So, I am looking mainly for a 16550 cream dial, a 1655, a 16520 white dial (no box and papers) or a nice 1675. I am quite open ... so if you are interested to discuss please just drop me a PM. Beautiful Ed White. Though as the lucky owner of a very similar example, as well as some vintage Rolex, I think you'd really miss the Speedy if you did go over to Rolex entirely. I know I couldn't be without a vintage Speedy of some variety. Good luck anyway!

You are certainly right Larry, but i am Always thinking that some watches are not available for cash only… secretly kept in a safe deposit box..maybe some people will be more open to trade a nice piece for another niece piece !
but I am Young and maybe naive ...we'll see what happen !

I've seen this watch in person and, if possible, it looks even better than in the pictures. I would keep it as well, but @Fost is right to sell: flipping watches is a disease, so when you need to get to the next one, you NEED to get to the next one

What a lovely watch , But fully understand the need for the next watch. I've been thinking of letting go of my 81 16800 matte dial ,& some days its definitely going then on others I think I wont get another in the same condition . Are you sure its surplus to requirements .

I would say it is a very special watch just like the speedy. But I will wait until I receive it
