There should be a reference number between the lugs at 12 o'clock and a serial number at 6.

Give us those, and we can help,

Well, there you go. A very uncommon reference!

I'd suggest you put the right size strap on it! ;-)

Did Bond leave his springbars exposed? Which book was that in? ::rimshot::

Haha it was the only rolex strap I had, I'd much prefer a bracelet if I could get hold of one chaps

Sean's 6538 was worn with a 16 mm strap with the same colors as mine. I wear mine on a 18 mm strap..

Well, Connery wore the ill-fitting nylon strap through at least 4 movies from 1962-65 (I just re-watched "Thunderball"), so I guess it was stable enough, but I wouldn't do it!

That strap was worn in Goldfinger and Thunderball. In Dr. No and From Russia With Love he wore the 6538 on an alligator strap. It was flush with the lugs.

Personally, I don't need an excuse. I have just re-watched all the films on Bluray. Still great. But, Dennis, before you ask, I don't have a Bond Omega ;)

Until March of this year neither did I. ;) Sure did want a Top Time after seeing Thunderball a few years back, but couldn't find one to my liking.
