Bought this awhile ago (4 years) before the prices went crazy.

Let me know your views on this (is it fake/redialed etc)

    There are 2 numbers on the caseback:1608964 / 124116.

Its sold to be as solid gold, but I don't see any hallmarks anywhere.

Here's the movement pic, if it helps. There are hallmarks on the caseback, but none on the watch case.

Case size is a delightfully modern 37mm. :)

It is solid gold, just polished so the hallmark doesn't show. NOrmally, it would be on the side of the case at 9 o'clock.

    Dial is original, just worn.

Yes. The metal appears to be more red than yellow, although initially i attribute it to the aging process. Aren't rose gold UG rare?

Yes there seem to be slight marks at 9 o clock.. mystery solved.. :)

Nice watch. Rose gold UG are not particularly rare, I've even seen more rose gold Compax than yellow gold ones.

Your watch has been produced somewhere between 1952 and 1954 (serial number).
This case was made by Orac SA, Andre Brauchi (number in the hammerhead).

Congrats and welcome, you can learn a lot here.
