I have had this vintage Tudor Day-date ref. 7017/0 for about a year already. It is in very good condition with a beautiful blue satin dial. The size is really what makes this watch appealing to me at 38mm.. Too bad Rolex never made one of the same size. The ETA movement is also compact affording Tudor to come up with a slimmer watch. Another great addition to my collection.

PS: Notice the leather strap I used has a built-in quick release lever for easy removal and installation.

Great piece! Wear it in good health!

It’s fascinating how measures have changed. Jumbo in that period was a 38mm, now... well the bigger the better. Also the SMPC moved from 41 to 42mm.

Great looking watch. I've always been looking out for a mint blue dial version with a bracelet, but due to the scarcity of these the current prices are too steep.

Esp the blue dials.. hard to find a blue dial that has not disintegrated. I should have kept one for myself while the prices were still affordable

This watch has the original Jubilee bracelet too. I just need extra links for it to fit me. The previous owner was on the skinny side.

Good luck in finding the extra links.

The blue in my view is the nicest, I had the opportunity to buy one some years ago but I foolishly passed up on it as it only came on the strap. What was I thinking?

Thanks. I know I have some extra links from my Rolex GMT 1675. I guess they would be the same?

It really is. If I remember correctly it would have cost me £1800, try getting one like this for that money now.🙁
