Probably best to post this in the Support subforum.

Since you are new, I assume it was an introductory post?

Sales/selling must be voluntary, threats are not allowed.

Why read rules? When you just can post in the wrong forum trying to sell a watch after you are locked out of the correct one.

Sorry to the OP if this is not what happened. It’s just common.

Did your post contain any or all of the following three words: squirrel; Dennis; or ulackfocus?

None of the above. Said that I was looking for some help on value with a mind to sell. Was getting some great insight and tried to reply a thanks but thread was gone. Certainly didn’t intend to break the rules...

Your thread said in the opening post:

"I am looking to sell the watch to finance the purchase of another Panerai"

So yea, you tried to sell a watch in a public forum.

That was the reasoning behind the post. I was not actually offering for sale. Indeed the subject matter was asking for help on valuing. This I understood was permissible. If post has been removed by the forum police for that reason, I would’ve thought it courteous to advise the OP.
Oh well a lot to learn obviously....

    Yea.

Like learning to read the rules

It would be more courteous if you to read the rules before telling us how you should be treated.

Moderators work under the assumption that you’re capable of reading the rules and have done so.
There are multiple attempts daily to circumvent the sales rules and I’m sure the mods’ patience level continually hovers around zero.

I apologize but we get a lot of people trying to back door sales here. We have rules in place for a reason in regards to sales posts. On the other hand you got the info you needed. Don’t touch or modify clean service etc the watch before you sell it.

Good luck to when you do sell it.
