    Quartz movement swiss watches...

As much as i love omega watches, both mechanical and quartz, im so happy to find room in omega forums for brands other than omega.
Swiss watchmaking industry couped successfully with the quartz trend in the late 70s and early 80s.. and prodused wonderful watches,, accurate, beatiful and pratical.

One of my favories is the classic T touch from Tissot.

I put this watch on my wrist when i was on a snorkeling trip in hurghada-egypt.. it was almost 40° in very salty waters for more than 6 hours.. she did a great job!
With the dual time function and elegance design, i put it on casual wear and as dress watch as well.

Tissot cronograph T063... This watch came to me as a birthday gift from my wife.. actually she chose a different model and we both went to exchange it with this model from the same tossot boutique. It came in a very well made metal bracelet.. and after couple of years i put it to a rubber coated leather band and to NATO straps that gave it a different personality (your opinions are very welcomed )

Tissot PR50 is one of the oldest watches in my current collection.. and as per tissot dealers, it is the mother of tissot classic/traditional line of production.
It is 36mm without the crown... that makes it a pure dress watch for old-school collectors.. and there was a black face version but i fell in love with the white clean dial and im still happy with it. I like the way it looks with the arabic numerals on the white clean dial.

The metal bracelet is very well done with both brushed and polished finishing. I think about this watch as a collect item that is going to have a great value for Tissot lovers.

I have resized the bracelet to my wife's wrist after she claimed that the 36mm is now for ladies watches::facepalm2:::whistling:! So it's now my wife's property!::love::::shy:::D

West End Watch Co. Is not widely known among swiss wstches collectors.. though i found some vintage models at youtube reviews and shops windows...

I have bought this watch in late 2009.. it came with high quality folding clasp on black leather band with alligator finishing.
When i look closely to this watch i really find it full of beautiful details in design and careful finishing.. also, it dresses perfectly and sits very comfertable on the wrist (39mm, which is my best).
Last month i got a brown leather strap for this watch (it has the usual high quality) with its "W" logo at the back.

Please share with me your information, experience and opinions about this brand.

    Continental
I found this watch on a 50% sale! i took the chance as the price was very seducing..

Classical polished pointing hands on a 42mm dial (with bezel) white date window and domed crystal (most probably sapphire with no AR) .. all make it clearly readable..
I dont have much to say about it except that i did not regret for the money i paid for.

    IMG-20151008-WA0010.jpeg

It came in a nice wooden box and on average quality leather band..

I think this Nato strap lookes nice and it totally diverts the character of this watch.

Before I decided to jump into Omega wagon, I seriously consider Tissot as my go to brand, and T-Touch as uber cool watch. Compass, Altimeter, Alarm and many other functions with a tap on its crystal !!! Cool....
The only thing that hinder me to pull trigger was the saleslady info that I couldn't use it near water since it will jeopardize its multiple sensors.

Anyway welcome and cool collection you have there.....
