Crown seal was almost certainly replaced as part of the service, not surprising its tight, it'll loosen up with time. My SM300 watchco after it was serviced was so tight I had to use one of those rubber grip things you get stuck jar car lids off to wind it.

Oh ok thank you. I was so scared that I am going to mess up the mechanism from the inside.

    A valid, gentlemanly, concern.

Is this a Seamaster 300 (vintage or Watchco), or a Seamaster Professional? Your title says "SMP300" so I'm not 100% sure which watch it is.

If it's the SM300, then as dsio states the crown seals on the case tubes are notoriously tight, and there is really nothing that can be done to fix it, other then using it and having it wear in.

If it's an SMP modern watch, then something is wrong - crown should not be hard to turn.

    Cheers, Al

Ah you're right I thought the title said SM300 as you don't typically see SMP300 written to describe the Seamaster Pro
