A more complicated job than expected. Purchased from ebay, so a gamble element always involved. watchmakers replaced incorrect sweep, replaced lume with a non-glow aged look replacement, restored click function to bezel ( "nightmare job" apparently - only managed to get 2 of 3 bearing replaced), correct OEM crystal, and COA movement which was "rusty". Well, saved from the scrapheap. Will land on a 1171 bracelet when back from the spa.

Photos of it after, before, and the old ruby bezel bearings before replacement....

Looks like a different watch, well done on saving it.

Ultrasonic tank helps get out those old ruby spheres and their springs...flip case upside down in tank and keep it running and they usually fall out.

If the spring is stuck in the hole after, a little alum solution will fix that right up...

    Cheers, Al
