    Hi all,
Well, it took a week and a half coming from the US, but it is here.

At the moment it is just on a generic brown leather band I had at home, but looking at it, I think it needs a lighter brown/honey colour, to match the hour markers.

Oh, and need some polywatch, those scratches you see are on the crystal, not the dial.

Sweet! You might need a new crystal though, the marks on the crystal on the top left look like cracks. It could also use a new crown/stem, it looks bent. A little cape cod on the bezel would make the watch pop as well.

    Very nice watch!

Is it rough rigging watches so they will run the other way
round for the Southern Hemisphere...like the toilets?

    Regards,
    Jon

Usually the crown sits flush against the case, it looks like it is sticking out or it's at an angle. Maybe it's the picture?

Cape Cod is a polishing cloth that works on metals, you can find it on ebay. I find it works pretty well with SS, but some of the guys might have other recommendations.

Don't worry about the stem. It's a relatively easy and inexpensive fix during a service.

"Cape Cod" is a polishing cloth. Kyle's like an artist with them so I'll let him go into further detail.

And I agree that the crystal needs replacing. The spider webbing is a group of stress cracks, not scratches. Crystals are only about $35 or $40 and can be installed during a service as well.

That's a good lookin watch.
