I salvaged a decent vintage from eBay! Enjoying a lot, I have some issues...

1. how to adjust day? when I pulled a crown to 2nd level, it only changes date.

2. big rotor sound. is it normal for this high frequency movement?

I think you have a level only to change date, to change day you have to use the time level.
Big rotor sound should be ok

 

Must be like my Captain winsor AC You pull out to advance date but use hands to set day
