hello everyone! i'm totally new on this community to introduce myself i'd like and share some pics of my 2913-3 tks for the space Alex
I'm a real noob to this model, so here comes the stupid question: did the 2913 come in 2 variations (one with a regular bezel & one with plain steel bezel) or is the first one lacking the insert ? It would seem weird not to have one on a diver but you never know with vintage timepieces
For the 2913 there are 7 subreferences. 2913-1, 2913-2 etc. There's also a 14755 which is a very similar watch to the 2913s so in that essence there are multiple variations of this watch (each with different hands, slightly different inserts, etc). The inserts on these watches were quite brittle and known to break off which is why OPs one is missing. There are some restores who can do magic and recreate them for those which broke off.
You missed one There are 8 subreferences, the last 2913-8 produced second half or 1961. To the OP; nice and correct 2913-3 with early caseback version. Enjoy until you trade it.
@ChicagoFrog since you already pounced on Ash's I'll say dibs to the OP's if he ever decides to part ways @Alexwatchmad - great watch and welcome to the forum!
Way to make an entrance , I know some body selling a lollipop seconds hand if interested mine says high 14755
