Couldn't believe it when I saw it but on the one dollar table sat this Zenith watch. The market had been open for 1 hour before I got there. Truly an amazing original piece. Unpolished case and what appears to be the original dial. The second hand is dislodged and is floating around the dial. All in all a great piece IMO. I tried in vain to open it up and even with a case opener it didn't budge. I will have to have my watchmaker do it in fear of scratching the case back anymore.

Thats cheap, but the service and spare parts may cost you a bit. But great job finding that!!! :)

You could superglue a bolt to the back and use a wrench. When open you can remove the bolt with heat.
Maybe not the most pretty solution but it works wonderful without risk of damage.
    Nice find!

And if it still wont unscrew you can glue a nut to your wrist and wear it. :)

The watch is 32mm. I dropped it off for a service, it runs but not on it's own. Very excited to get it up and running. Here is the movement, I can't seem to date it using the serial number? Also, the case back had no markings nor did the antimagnetic shield cover.
