I've had my PO 8500 42mm for over a year now (it was a year mid-January), and I can say this, it's become my absolute favorite watch and I wear it more days than not. It keeps excellent time and has only had to be hacked to a hand full of times. The stainless bracelet after a year of daily wear looks a lot better than my Breitling did after being worn every day for about six months after its last service which included bracelet and case restoration. The only little gripe that I have with this watch is that the AR coating seems a little delicate as it's visibly scratched in a couple of places. I can certainly live with it until it's serviced in a couple of years though. All in all, the PO 8500 was money well spent. The downside, I've really been eyeing another Omega, perhaps an AT 8500 this time.

Very nice. I've had my 8500 about the same amount of time. Love it. Admittedly it gets a little less wrist time against my AT8500 (for work). I've found both to be outstanding and have been very happy with them. Glad to hear your PO is living up to expectations!

    Cheers

If they AR coating scratches are annoying you can just polish the coating off carefully, then you're left with just normal sapphire underneath.

I'm always eyeing another Omega. It's a disease.

Treated myself to the po 8500 as an early 50th present. (2 years early but I just couldn't wait) It arrived yesterday.
This is my first watch and I absolutely love it!!!!
Sorry, just wanted to show it off....
