7D4C6730-772A-433C-9895-E9E6EB37F0E3.jpeg At Christmas I got the Apollo patches as a present from my wife. The Speedmaster dealers sign I have had for years. The frame came from a thrift shop. A spare hour over the weekend later I have a unique personal item which will go with my other Omega and NASA stuff. Bit of fun and hope you like it. Before any one says it yes there is a mistake in the patch order! Makes it even more personal...jolly difficult to photograph however so apologies for that. One shot with my 1969 Speedie then the Speedie collection...

I can only say WOW it's a very nice set you've got there... Just started with my first Speedie and I hope I will get to something like you collection someday.

My set is different, but I also have a patch collection I will be displaying soon.

Always nice to see some displays... talking of which, I have been asked by several societies, watch dealers and GTG to put up an Apollo 11 related display with "rare" items. So here are a few bits & pieces going to a shop window of an AD before travelling onwards to several GTG in Switzerland :D

Superb hobby backed up with a superb collection of interesting items. I bought a set of the badges that came with the 50th anniversary release from a seller in Japan a couple of years ago and love looking at them sat in on the display shelf.

    Outstanding collection and presentation!

ps: Is that a speedsonic? (third from right to left, in the 'quartz omega' box). I considered a few times the idea of buying one of the 'hummers' from the period...

Given the collection (Moonwatches, Speedsonic, Speedmaster 125), it would be cool to get the original ad:

Yes it is. I have two mirror dial Speedsonics. One on lobster bracelet and one on very rare Corfam deployment as in that advert. I should get an original copy of that!
Might be letting that Corfam one go at some stage to fund another Speedie .

Inspired by a previous post I picked one of these up. Very impressive bit of kit and a great addition to the collection!
