Here my extremely rare ‘straight lug’ Omega Speedmaster from 1963
Reference ST 105.003 was the first watch to ever be worn in space during the historic spacewalk by Ed White aboard the Gemini IV.
original stepped dial with applied logo

But the problem is my chronograph is no longer working properly , instead of the usual start-stop-reset. normally, activate top button to start, press again to stop, and activate lower button to reset, but in my watch and when the top button is pressed not only will the chronograph hand not stop it will simply just reset to 12 ( the movement is 321)
Now i decide to buy it as is it !!!!!!!

If the watch is resetting when you press the button to stop the chronograph, a part called the "stem bolt for hammer" is broken and needs to be replaced. Easy fix, if you can find both halves of the broken piece to make sure they are not inside the movement.

If they can't be found (this is often the case) then the movement has to be taken apart to find them, and then you might as well service it.

    Cheers, Al
