I assumed it was preowned. I would be curious to hear other opinions on the day wheel.

I’d try adjusting the day again. That movement takes forever to change the day wheel and I think it starts around 10pm. Check alignment at noon or 6/18.

    Snk’s are great pieces.

I have 2 of these seiko 5 auto watches.
    1 green face & 1 beige
    With matching straps.
The green one is worn every day
    For work...
    Fantastic never skips a beat.
Would not be with out them.
    My more expensive watches
    Get very little wrist time.

Ya I really like it. Day date is acting a little strange got up this AM and it had turned Spanish I believe. I’ll just keep my eye on it it’s a very well made watch. It’s actually my first automatic seiko which is odd as I have received several quartz seikos as gifts which have cost three times the price as this one.

Can’t actually be sure when it happened I honestly didn’t notice till the afternoon TBH I prefer my automatic watches to have no more than a date on them and even that I don’t need. I do know it changed at midnight but did so again by afternoon. The earlier pic when it looked out of alignment was the beginning of the midnight change

When you cycle the watch by hand forward you can see how long it takes to change. It’s a few hours on my watch with that movement. I’m betting your fine.

Mine are in english & French
    Days...
Never had any problem at all
    With them.
Pull out the crown to the first position turn clock wise away from you to change the date.
With the crown in the same position turn it towards you
And it will change the day..
    Try it out ...
    Dead easy no problems

Depending on which language you set the watch at, the day change to the other language happens shortly before the day change to tomorrow in english. E.g. “Mon” (Monday) swiches to “Lun” (Lunes) a few hours/minutes before the date flips to “Tue.” You probably got up early in the morning and saw that taking place.

Ya I need to pay attention tomorrow half the time I’m walking around in a daze. Anyone know the power reserve on this type of watch?
