My newest watch in my collection is in fact the oldest by far - it's an Omega Seamaster Caliber 1420 that I received from my father's estate. As it's a gold plated quartz piece, it's not something that I would seek to acquire but obviously has great sentimental value and will permanently stay in my collection. My father received it as a retirement gift and not being inclined to wear it, it's sat in a drawer for the past 30 years; besides a battery, I don't believe the watch has been otherwise serviced. Would anybody know the reference or year of manufacturer - I'm guessing the year would be circa 1980.
