I got this as a present to myself for achieving my professional Divemaster rating. Come to find out I prefer wearing it over everything I have.

Congrats on the certification and the watch! I'm still a long away from diving at your level but have worn my 2018 300 black dial for a few coldwater dives since I've had it, and throughly enjoyed it. It's a great, great all-rounder.

I like both. It was a hard choice.

Was recently able to change from black to blue without losing any $$. It is possible, just takes time!

It is for sure. I've owned both, but kept the black over the blue dial. They're both terrific, and depending on the light the two shades sort of met in the middle for me.

I would as well since it doesn't have a silly nickname like the submariner. :D

Congrats very nice and you will actually be diving with it. I put my dive watches on for rainy days.

Yes, for me it’s an actual tool watch. It’s also a plus that it’s stunning and comfortable on the wrist.

If buying new. Is it worth getting both the Bracelet and rubber strap? Im undecided which I will wear for normal use - probably the Rubber and keep the ss in the drawer for more dressy occasions
    Thoughts?

I’m of the mindset to always get the bracelet then supplement with a rubber or NATO.

I think so. I bought both of mine on the bracelet but swapped over to the rubber strap after finding the bracelet a bit heavy and uncomfortable and haven't gone back to the bracelet since. It's a well-made bracelet and the quick-adjustment feature is great, but for me anyway the rubber is more comfortable and I prefer the look.

I'm also generally not a fan of bracelets on my divers, with the exception of the Tudor Pelagos and my Doxa 1500. Both have these watches have extremely well-executed and comfortable bracelets that are easy to change on the fly even with gloves on. The Omega's is good but not in that league, IMO.

I got mine with SS and rubber for £3600!
