Hello, the seamaster 30 I had asked the group about last week, and ultimately purchased, arrived today. Aside from having a new, non Omega crystal installed, the watch is a great example of the reference. Keeping beautiful time, very clean, and I think I did well. I would like to purchase a genuine Omega Crystal to have for future installation to make the watch complete. A quick google search shows I need part # PZ5005 with white ring? what is the white ring? It also shows a site Otto Frei has the part for $62.00. Does all of that sound right? Can anyone shed any light on whether or not I have the right part number, and if the site is a good place to purchase parts? Watch is a 135.007-66, and her she is below. Thanks for any input. Larry
The "white ring" is the silver tension ring on the inside of the crystal. It's purpose is to assist in locking the crystal to the case, and to look nice. PZ5005 is the right crystal for your case.
