    Hi,

    just want to show my last acquisition.

    It´s a UG Reference 22704/1 from something about 1964 (Serial starts with 235xxx).

    I like the blued small & second hands that fits with the tachy... it´s totally Heuer Carrerastyle - but different ;)

    Thanks to noodia and LouS for having a eye on it before!

    The blue indices on the inner tachy bezel matching the blued hands really does kick it up a notch, sometimes you wonder how UG ever managed to fall from grace when they were capable of producing watches this nice

    That floating tachymeter is actually a very elegant and intelligent way to enlarge the diameter of the watch without unbalancing the design. I've seen it done on modern watches in much more clumsy ways. Very fine piece!
