Hi, I bought this watch a couple of days ago at an auction in Stockholm, Sweden. It is my first Omega. It is from 1956, 36 mm. I don´t know the name of the model and I hope that someone of you do and can tell me more about it. / Mårten
You've left out the most important part of the watch, the caseback and the inside of the caseback. There should be a 4 or 5 digit number there that you should be able to look up here: http://www.omegawatches.com/spirit/history/vintage-omegas/vintage-watches-database Don't be surprised if you can't find it there. Omega's database is far from complete. Also, there are many watches that just didn't have a model name. These watches are sometimes called a "Bullseye" by collectors. They seem to be native to Sweden. Hope this helps, gatorcpa
Hi and thank you, I thought I uploaded that picture but it must have fallen out. I could not find in the database.
So you were the one who outbidded me for that watch - I was the underbidder and had resolved to try to get this! Nice, nice find and while the price was high, well worth it since it came with what looked like the original strap and buckle.
I am sorry for that but I really, really wanted this watch. It is a beauty. And it looks exactly like yours Cicindela, where did you find yours?
