My new old speedmaster mark II

    I have just bought this Speedmaster Mark II from Ebay . Got it home today . Looks alright to me except the hands . They have been badly painted . I am thinking of chancing the dial to a dial i have in my spare parts from an other speedmaster mark II .It's the dial to the left .The other one to the right is new and going on an other project . What do you think of that? .New strap i want to have to . This one is ugly and to big . Hirsch liberty 22 mm cramped in to 20 mm

    Don't you think the second hand is a little short ?

    No, the second hand looks to be the correct length.

    Look at the sub second hand .It is of a different type . Looks more like a 2998 hand . I will change that sometime in the future . Maybe refurbish the case and paint the hands . Now they only touched up with a little paint over the old paint . and relume them with some patina lume .
