The past 12 months I have spent way too much on watches. But, when I saw the new Explorer, I knew I would get one at some point. Told my AD to let me know when he gets one in for me to SEE. You know the rest. I really love this watch. The balance of it's looks is just perfect. The way it feels on the wrist, great. My collection is now “complete”. .
Awesome! I'm very close to buying one of these, although I've also been looking at the rhodium dial oyster perpetual. Are you keeping it on the bracelet or switching it up? Explorers always look amazing on medium brown calf leather.

Love it. I have to stop by the boutique to check it out. I have the prior edition and absolutely love it. I just cant help but think ill miss the applied numerals. I feel they should have kept that part of the design and just change the hands
I've owned the 114270 for a long time, but I might just add the new one. Finally Rolex got the hands and numerals right (the oversized applied ones always looked wrong to me). Big congrats on this one - it is a perfect daily wearer.
This is a watch with a great heritage. I'm still exploring for the right 1016... the prices of which have exploded in the last year alone.
