I am new here I would like to know something about my new vintage Omega I got. I can’t find the type and if it is real.

Who has information for me? The watch is rectangle with a wide of 37mm including the crown and a hight of 31mm.

The DeVille seal on the back was used from 1972 on.
The design is also very, very 70s.
Unfortunately this model is neither on the Omega vintage site nor in Journey through Time so in order to find out the ref. you'd have to bring it to a watchmaker (not a jeweller) to have it opened.
All the information is on the inside of the caseback.
BTW there was a whole series of DeVille made of (sterling)silver. The color of your pics could hint in that direction (but that could also be my monitor).
Keep us posted.

This could be a De Ville Automatic "TV Screen" (c. 1973); Ref. ST 156.0002 with caliber. 684

Here is mine. Because I have been moving to different countries for the past few years it has been sitting in the safe unworn. I bought it from a member of this forum a few years ago. It is in NOS condition and still has the purple gunk on the back. I will travel home soon so might wear it. Its a beautiful watch with a cal 1481 movement, the sales ad stated it was originally designed as a prototype for the BETA 21 movement but another design was eventually chosen for that.

Love that style, even though I could never get away with wearing it. I can just see Joel Fabiani sneaking a look at that watch as he tails a suspect down a grimy side street, some time in the early seventies.
