The case is 14-karat solid gold, but I have a strong suspicion that the bracelet is only plated. Identify? The only identification will likely be the model number, and possibly a serial number inside the case back. Omega had a series of watches called Sapphette, but the individual models didn’t have names. Your mother’s watch is not one of the Sapphette series because it lacks a faceted sapphire crystal. Nice! I hope there is someone you can present it to who will enjoy it. By the way, it is mechanical, and will need winding. It was made decades before quartz watches.
My Dad's is automatic, which I gather has had a bit of a comeback.
Comeback? Automatics never went away.
