Summing up. 90% of the time was spent on food and drink (100% De Luca as chosen watch): 5% went to...: Those here who know me a bit realizes what the above pictures mean... 5% to: It was a nice Friday to Sunday. Well proportioned.
I so want to visit and will. Tried on two occasions to cobble a reason to go on business to no avail. Sadly when I do go, Mrs S will have me on a very tight leash watch wise.
M’bob I commend your choice, used to love that woman. I going to Milan for the GP next year so looking forward to seeing the sights.
Nope. Training session for the future. Getting into character for the role I am going to play when retired in some years. Galleria, Panama hat, wrinkled up and dirty white linen suit, grappa, cigars, fooling young guys into believeing I do not know what the watch on my wrist is worth. "Oh... this ol thing - you want to buy it...?" Playing them for ages. Then when they understand I am playing them - pestering them about the time when vintage chronographs were cheap and how I bought Lemania Viggens for nothing. The test run was successful. I am now plotting similar future scenarios in Costa Rica (rum), Paris (absinthe), St Petersburg (or Leningrad as I prefer to call it - vodka), etc.
Been there (or rather - in Valletta) and it was nice. The food maybe not going-back-nice though. Not first on my list of places to visit again. Or did I miss something?
