I bought this in a shocking state, to use the movement in a project. I wore it around to see just how it ran, and began to like it.
So I sent it off, and after a new crystal, service and a bit of a polish, here it is.
Here in UK big gold watches don't generate much sympathy.
I have clearly lived abroad too long, and "gone troppo" because I love it.
So here I am sharing the love - any more goldilocks out there?

Terrible photos, I know, but this is a recent purchase - a bit bling, but the dial is soooo compelling and almost hypnotic.

Yep, agree - they certainly look much nicer on a good dark brown strap. Pity not much can be done about the overpolishing. I,ve been told its very difficult to get back to the original brushed finish, especially with the 20 microns 14k gold plate versions. Does anyone know any better?

    Cheers, Paul
