So, a few weeks ago, @Tony C. messaged me suggesting that I may want to get one of his smaller watches for my wife, an IWC cal. 83 from from 1945, which measured around 30mm. Upon seeing it, I was like, "What wife? That's for me!" as I have gotten used to wearing smaller watches anyway.

Today, it arrived. This is one of my most beautiful watches and needless to say, this is now among my all time favorites.

Here's one of the pics Tony sent me:

Which he soon changed to this after I committed to getting it:

The watch upon arrival and on my wrist:

Thanks again Tony for thinking of my wife!

Thanks for a smooth transaction, as always Aaron! I am delighted that you are happy with the IWC.

These mirror dials are special, and not always easy to capture well in photos. The first image, in which the indexes have a blue-ish tone, is an example of how they can pick up the color of whatever they happen to be reflecting. It's a very cool effect, and helps to explain why these early style of dials are desired by collectors.
