The HQ site has a nice selection of vintage and modern watches in all categories. Geared towards Rolex but has all the others big brands. Easy to deal with. HQ has the prices listed, no “ask for price”. I made offers and accepted by Mr. Kaplan or Mr. Kozubek. Mr. Kozubek was actually in Italy I believe when he accepted the deal for the Omega Speedmaster Tintin. After deals agreed on, I wired funds and within 24 hours the watch was delivered. (SF to PHX)
Attaching a few pictures of the watches I have acquired through HQMilton. These are the inventory #’s on the website if anyone would like to see original offering.
    2016 Omega Speedmaster Tintin. #9629
    2016 Tudor Pelagos LHD #A842
    1991 Omega Speedmaster 145.022 #1247

The more I look I really think $3500 was a heck of deal on the 145.022. I may never take this one off.

Some of their asking prices seem so high that even if I am interested in something I just move on based on an assumption that a rational (for me) offer will be ignored. I get that they have rent and salaries and whatever but that can't account for all of the markup. JMHO.

Agree. I've held off on reasonable offers that I feared would be treated as insults, just so I don't poison the well. You see a watch at Milton priced at $20k, with similar examples on the market around $15k, what are you supposed to do? Offer $15.5k? Some would, but I haven't. Perhaps OP can give us a rough idea of the percent discount that HQMilton might find reasonable.

Some of their price are not that off, i guess it depends on the watch ( their price for subs and sea dweller are not outragious).
I had one experience with them, and they were very nice taking care of a problem that happened with a speedmaster and refound me quickly.
I would defenetely buy from them in the future.

    I concur with Mancio.
Jacek is pretty spot on for market value of his Rolex products. He has occasionally been a bit off with Omega as they are not his forte.
I have purchased one Rolex from HQ and it was a Super fast seamless transaction, including a $1800 price reduction.
I would definitely purchase from HQ again.
    Cheers,
    Buster

I can also recommend HQ Milton. Rarely Jacek or Scott may not mention a particular flaw, but the return policy is quite liberal so that is not a problem. Better to have a watch in hand to examine it. I have bought quite a few from them. The matter of prices: what may seem quite high on some pieces is not a fault of theirs but the market itself. In the past I have gotten a steal on a couple of NM pieces (one of which has more than doubled in value in a few years).

Here are some I've bought from them:

I think their good pieces are priced appropriately. I’m often surprised at the high prices they put on watches with service parts, but I suppose people buy them anyway.

Here's an example of what I was talking about: a "tropical" red 1680 from HQ Milton:

    hq_red.jpg

From their description of the dial: "The edge of the minute markers at 4, 6 and 9 o’clock show some chipping, and the minute marker at 7 o’clock is missing." The hands have been repainted (color-matched to the dial).

Really nice red 1680's, 100% original, unpolished, with flawless dials (not "tropical" though), are going for around $25k. Here's an example:

    https://www.chrono24.com/rolex/1972-unpolished-mkiv-red-submariner-date-ref-1680--id9183594.htm

The HQ Milton watch is priced at $39,550. Seems like a heckuva premium for a (flawed) tropical dial and repainted hands.

I sure would not fault a dealer for placing a higher price on a watch with a 'tropical dial' just because that is what the market is allowing for. I agree that a 100% correct and A+ condition watch is more of what I want but people go a bit crazy over brown and patina.

I will say a quick scroll through their Tudor selection and I find their prices to be more than reasonable. They source great looking wearers and clearly point out their flaws, I can't complain.

Well......Price is not crazy. The fact that is a tropical add a very consistent premium compare to the same model with a black dial.
Yes, there are inperfection on the dial but are very minimal and the dial has a wonderful color.
And this is a dealer, not a private. That makes a difference too

The watches I acquired are of course not in ultra expensive class.
Some of the watches offered are consignment, could be the reason for a high price.
2016 Omega Speedmaster Tintin (no papers) little over. $4,000
2016 Tudor Pelagos LHD little over $3,000 (box and papers)
    1991 Omega Speedmaster 145.022. $3,500

When pursuing other sources on the web these prices are few hundred below what I find
Happy as clam with what I sourced.

I bought my 5513 from HQ Milton, and dealing with Jacek was pretty smooth. I closed the deal at the start of the mth, and had asked them to ship towards the end of the month when I was back from home a 2-week long trip.

To my horror they mistakenly shipped immediately after I wired the money over. (+1 for efficiency, -1 for not reading emails in detail!)

When I emailed them, they apologized profusely, reversed the shipment, absorbed the costs (as they should) and shipped it again at the right time. I thought that was good service recovery. The watch was as described, and hey I love my MF 5513!
