On a whim, I stopped at a local jewelry store in Scottsdale today. I am a long way from home and traveling on business. The have a very large selection of new watches, and a few cases of pre-owned. I was looking at a beautiful Omega Roadmaster when I spotted something out of the corner of my eye - an Omega Constellation Pie Pan! 30 minutes and some haggling later, it was mine.
I realize the marker at 12 o'clock looks funny. That's just my poor photography. It's perfect. I am told it is the original dial, and a replacement Omega crystal.
Congratulations, and that's a very nice original dial. The crown is a replacement but that is easily fixed, nice find!
Nice pie-pan dial! Is that a gold capped or solid gold? And what's a "Roadmaster"? Vintage or modern?
Ahhh......now I understand. If it is a vintage one you miss a huge big opportunity . If it is more the modern version than you are fine. Mine says hello:
