Another great catch this vintage Heuer Calculator which is in like NOS. Hard to find a 50 year old watch in such great condition so its a no brainer when my dealer offered the watch to me. The bezel however, is something that I still have to figure out how to use. Another welcome addition to my collection.

Great looking watch, congrats!!

The bezel however, is something that I still have to figure out how to use.

Maybe this could help:

"While there are slight differences between the Heuer and Breitling in terms of units displayed, the concept for the slide rule is the same."

That's a fabulous catch, congratulations!

You'll find plenty of help using a circular slide rule by searching online. I keep the slide rule on my Navitimer set to a single setting that allows me to calculate an 18% tip at a restaurant, and convert back and forth between the Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales 😀

Good to know how useful the slide rule bezel can be.

Takes me back to ground school. They still did it with circular slide rules back then and called them "flight computers."
I'm sure it's all vacuum tubes and rheostats now.
