The crown it very tight to screw back in, like something jammed. What will it be like?

It's most likely cross treaded. Have it checked out as it may well not be water proof anymore and water is the biggest enemy of your watch movement.
To prevent cross treading when screwing down the crown I turn the crown counter clockwise while applying some pressure. When I feel the ends of the threads of the crown and crown tube click over each other I then turn the crown clock wise, all the while applying that light pressure.
