Yeah, my furry butt... 30 seconds a day slow. Hands were messed up. Half the lume on the dial was gone. Movement would not start on its own from hack. Bastard. Off to Omega MIami it went. Came back with new hands, free. Too bad it was running 15 seconds a day fast. At this point I specified the new dial because I noticed the lume issue. The bracelet is brand new, $1550ish. $386 for the dial, $550 for the service... Oy. Ah well, they updated the usual parts in the 2500B, bracelet is new, dial is new, hands are new, mainspring is new... I got what I want and I'm keeping it until I'm dead, so the price is not as important to me as it might be to others. This style bracelet goes back to the 50s and Seamaster and Constellation Grand Luxe. We call it the brickwork bracelet. Not really armadillo. Tom

There aren't any upgraded parts for the 2500B, so you might be confusing that with the upgraded parts for the C version...
They changed that intermediate escape wheel. You're right, I got confused. It was probably just worn enough, as they changed the pallet too. Tom
