I've had this for a while - it is illustrated in the book "Vintage Wristwatches", which has too little of too much. 300 micron (yes, very thick) 14k gold capped steel ant-magnetic case with bombe lugs and steel back, 28j cal. 215 microtor movement. These watches are the result, as I understand it, of the very young Gerald Genta's first big design success. It's small by today's standards (34.5mm), but still looks great!

I have no idea on what are the differences between a Polerouter and a Polerouter Jet ?

If someone around would be kind enough to enlighten me, I'll be very thankful 😀

best regards - Fred

edit: found the answer on polerouter.de. Basically a cheaper version of the Polerouter line.

I think you started something, Chris. Here's my Super. I'm thinking the "Super" refers to water resistance, as it has a big ol' screw-down crown.

Great shots guys! As Fred discovered, almost all you ever wanted to know about these fine watches, inspired by 18 hours or so in a DC-6 on the SAS trans-polar route from Copenhagen to Los Angeles via Winnipeg, can be found on the web at polerouter.de
