This is my first omega. What is 1022 caliber like? Can you help me how to keep time? When I shake the watch hard, the second hand slows down and seems to stop. When I measure it, there is a deviation of 3-5 seconds in 1 day.

Better pictures would be helpful. You dont need to shake it hard BTW it should autowind with normal wearing. Sounds like a service would be helpful do you know when last service?

The person I bought it from said he had just had it serviced. The watch keeps good time.

Don't shake the watch hard!

If you were shaken hard you'd slow down and seem to stop.

Three to five seconds per day is most excellent service. I'd be tickled pink if I acquired a similar Omega with that movement and it was that accurate.

If you want piece of mind you should have it serviced again, no matter what you were told by the seller. There is no other way that we can allay your fears here.

Five seconds per day is fantastic - maybe try to take a video of the seconds hand slowing down?
