After researching this site extensively as well as a few others, I fianlly took the plunge and picked up my first pre-moon Speedy.
Can't do photos of the movement as the caseback is quite stiff and I am a novice after all. Don't want to scratch it on my first day.
When opened by the seller it had all the right stamps/logos/etc saying it's a 145.022-69 and the movement serial number of 28426xxx puts this in the right range.
Can't tell if the bezel is original or got swapped during a service as there are no discernible marks on it.
Shame the previous owner severely over-polished the caseback (can only just make out the writing and hippocampus when holding it to the light at a specific angle, can't make out the Omega logo at all).
I can't tell if the case itself is unpolished or only lightly polished but the lines look pretty crisp to me.
Maybe someone out there can clarify.

Love the patina on the hands and indices.

A few light scratches on the crystal and a slight knick near 1 o'clock but the Omega stamp indicates that this is original (can just make this out in the second photo).

Now have the bug to get a cal 321.

Hello and fun watch. It is a later bezel and though the photos make it difficult to clearly see, I'd bet the case has been "tarted up" a bit for sale. Shame about the caseback, that's one of the most charming bits on the pre-moons.

If you're chasing a 321 be sure to do the homework and know exactly what you're getting into, lots of watches out there ready to take your money and hand you something worthless in return.

Thank you for that.......I thought the bezel looked way too clean and unmarked.
Still, very happy to dip a toe in the water with this one.
