Thanks to all the members who have patiently answered all my questions on my first dabble in vintage Speedmasters!
I set out for a 321 but found this along the way and it will hold me over until the right 321 comes along!
It is a 145.022-69 with 3.0584 serial. Everything to my eye appears original and the lume plots are in great shape, confirmed all the tritium via UV light.
Case looks good to me but always interested to hear feedback as I am still learning. Sourced a good DON bezel that I just had installed today. All that remains is a possible service. I am in Houston, Tx and wild appreciate and suggestions about a good watchmaker to perform service!?

Look forward to wearing and hearing your thoughts

    James

I'd say you did well. That's a pretty thing.

I'd be interested to know how much the bezel cost compared to the watch itself. Prices for both are all over the place at the moment.

I have the feeling that the high prices have resulted in the market for don bezels being flooded a bit and more realistic prices being attainable.

Thanks all. The bezel was pretty spendy for a tiny piece of metal... but I was fortunate to find the watch at a pretty reasonable price so it all evened out.

The resolution in the images is not high enough, to really see clearly

Have the Hour plots been relumed ?

There seems to be little texture /‘puffiness’,… and the overall colour is far paler than I would expect

Look at the aged lume in the Chronograph hand ?

I really really don't think it's been relumed, especially looking under a loupe. Can see the proper puffiness associated with tritium and can see some small spots where it has started to come off. Pics are off iPhone hence the resolution issue...
