    Well, quite a few of you have been trying to get me to buy my first vintage piece. And last night I did... It's not an Omega but it's an original Oris divers sixty-five. Here's some photos from the sale ad. Now I just have to anxiously wait since it's coming from the Netherlands and hope it arrives ok.
    if anyone is familiar with Oris or this original piece and sees anything funny, let me know ;)

    Thinking of getting a service done on it once it arrives. Anyone recommend anyone who knows Oris, or is just plain good?
    Thanks everyone

    Interesting to see both a date aperture and a 3.

    I had one of those many moons ago. Had a pocket full of the odd Oris as my early watchmaker had a backroom full of parts and cases. I liked them, inexpensive, pretty good design etc. Moved on to dumb stuff like Omega, Longines and Rolex, LOL. Nice catch. m

    Is there an over/under for how long it stays?

    ::stirthepot:: ;)

    Nice piece though, seriously.

    Nice! I'm considered a new sixty-five but this is better. Given that I'm from the Netherlands, I wish I found it first ;)

    Lol, thanks. Well I'm thinking I need a newer one to go with it... Even on the forums though, they're pricey.

    Cool watch, I like the Genta esque Polerouter meets Rolex engine turned bezel.

    Nice grab, Frunkinator! Been looking for one of these. I really like it. The new one is on my list, too.

    Edit: (just saw that you sold it)

    Ha! Yeah... A good deal popped up on a Rolex I couldn't let pass. Didn't even put this one on, but had to do the right thing and use the funds to help buy the other incoming.
