I just bought this watch because from the pictures looks very good and I liked the movement but when I received I saw that the case it's not UG? Payed approximative 250 Euro..does this worth the money?

You have a beautiful movement and dial. Could have done worse.

Find a donor case or watch.

Learn before you buy...1 quick look and experience says recast.

 

Yes ... it’s worth the money and yes you bought a UG dial and movement in some sort of generic case. If you like the watch, keep it as a reminder to be more careful next hunt.

 

@watchknut and @Larry S are spot on for whether this is worth the money despite it being in a wrong case. To be fair, this case actually makes the watch stand out more than the round circular one it was probably in

And if anything, this shows that UG price creep is now affecting even the base models.

Yes it looks good..that was the reason I rush for it ( maybe to much.. ) but I am not comfortable to have a watch which is not 100% authentic.
I think I will sell it and hope to get the same money... Thank you for your opinions.

 

Guessing that it was probably in a gold dress watch originally. On the plus side the movement actually looks pretty decent

 

What you have is a very rare dial ... Pity, it would have been worth a small fortune with the original case. I suppose $250 is probably pretty good value for what you have. Case likely to have been sold off as scrap gold ... Sacrilege !

 

Surprised they didn't scrap the dial too - the markers look to be applied gold? What a shame about the original case with those insane lugs, but I personally would wear this one as is, especially at the price.

It could have been much worse, like buying a redial but at that price for a microtor, nice dial and hands I would have bought it for the parts.

Personally based on what has been said here. You got a great deal. I’d cast about for a parts watch were I you. Marry that stunning movement and dial with a nice case. In the meantime enjoy it.

Despite the case, that dial is absolutely stunning!

 

This is probably not a short term project. Enjoy as is for now and..........patience !
