After joining the forum late last year, I read a lot threads on various speedys and decided that this would be a good speedy for me w/ the 861 caliber. I just got it today at a watch show close to where I live. Here are some pix. Thank you for this forum and all the help that the people are willing to give.

What's funny is there were 3 of the same caliber ranging from 1969-1971 right next to each other. I literally would look at 1, then turn my head and look at the other ones without even having to take more 2 steps. I ended up getting this 71 because the hands/lumes were cleaner than the others. I ended up having to spend $200 more but I think it was worth it, especially since it had the 71 1039 bracelet too.
Thanks a lot. It was a small show, but a friend that was there before me, bought a speedy also 1969. So there were 4 that I saw anyways. Maybe more the night before when guys are swapping before the show.
I agree. It just looked pretty nice, with some bumps here and there, but not 2 bad really. Thank you.
