Hi Folks !
Not sure whether a '97 is still considered as a "modern Omega" or already a "Vintage" one ... one of the very last Tritium version.
It all started many years back when I was offered a very nice book detailing the "50 most important watches in the world" : very subjective probably, but I was already the happy owner of some of them, but did know nothing about the Moonwatch ! Yeah, know what you're thinking, but remember you all didn't know at some time until you knew !!!

So many years after, I decided I had to get one; Started reading, digging... went on Fratello's, and finally paid a visit to Roy & Sacha Davidoff in Geneva (an hour's drive from where I live).

And there it is, got it about a year ago !
Ref. ST 345.0022 / 3570.50.00
Housing a Cal. 861, but with 18 Jewels, where this cal. normally has 17 - So logically a transitional movement introducing the forthcoming 1861.
Tritium lume is still quite active and very even, both on hands and indexes.
Patina has started its artwork, not only on the Tritium, but now apparently also on the dial : under certain angles in the sun, one can see the black paint starting to turn slightly brownish 🥰

Sorry but the picture of the caliber is quite poor...
But I truly love swapping bracelets / straps / Natos weather depending ! Leather in the winter, and the others in the warmer days.
