I agree with your comments. I only own a couple of Omegas which I dearly love, both vintage (Memomatic and D-Shape). The Speedmaster Racing 326.30.40.50.03.001 will be my first brand new Omega.

Thank you very much! I also love that colour options. For instance dark side of the moon with yellow or new racing with orange are perfect dials for me but unfortunately they are both 44,25mm. I tried both but they were way too big. My favourite dial was however blue two counters. Even that 43mm was not a good fit with its size. If you look at the Speedmaster series 57’ is now selling really amazing. Maybe the most sold one at the moment. I think it’s because of its 40,5mm size. However dial, bezel combination is not my taste. Plus I still don’t like the divers much especially with a giant arrow hand. So for me there was only one option and I was lucky to find it after discounting as a new 😀 after some time I recognise that I made a right choice and makes me happy every time when I look at it!

They are also very nice watches for sure. It will amaze you when you get it in your hand from the box I believe 😀 I hope you enjoy and wear in a good health. It has a lot of nice features besides its amazing time-keeping capability like two sides anti reflective glass and 100m water resistance. It’s a good allrounder for sure. Btw just update us when you receive with a wrist photo! Till then here mine comes 😉

Hi all!

I am very pleased with the new watch. It looks even better on the flesh, than what the images I saw online depicted.

It is true what I read about all the hues of blue the dial exhibits; it goes all the way from blue sky, bleu royale, and black.

For my wrist, 40mm fits just right.

On the pic below it looks like another watch with black dial... still same watch!

On leather strap...

Looks great! This color changes makes it more unique. It's hard to understand this dial from photos for sure. Racing leather strap fits also very nice. This year I will purchase a Nato from Omega. It will make me having the geniune buckle and metal parts for Nato and leather straps. Then I’ll buy a racing style black leather strap and a travel box. Then the set will be completed. I hope

Thank you! . Yes, this dial color is not easy to understand unless you personally see it. I am planning on getting the mesh bracelet and travel box later on.

Happy Friday!

Double checked the mesh bracelet on the Omega site and found out they recommend it for wrists not smaller than 18cm (18cm plus) and mine is 17cm, so I won't be ordering

It could be interesting to see that with a mesh. Mine is even smaller around 16,6cm. I think for this size of wrist this 40mm chrono is a perfect fit! I'm gonna buy a nato and a racing leather strap. A travel box i am also considering to buy.

I yesterday bought a nato from an OB in Geneva. For me a new year's gift! It's black with a yellow stripe. A perfect fit to my Speedy! They gave in a beautiful pouch that I can use as a travel pouch for my watches. With this strap I have now a geniune buckle and those metal things for nato straps. So whenever I want to make a change I will be able to use my original buckle and nato accessories! I will buy a black, racing leather strap which I find also a great fit.

After Geneva, I had a chance to visit the Omega’s HQ and the museum. It is free to enter and very impressive to see. I think we buy mostly history and experience with timepieces. To see such a great history is that’s why specifically beautiful. The worst part is there is almost no souvenirs to buy as a memory. I wanted to have some small stuff with me as a memory to my visit but I couldn’t find any object worth to buy. However it was a pleasure to be there.
