The Rolex Boutique in Chicago treated me really well over the holiday, I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the crew there. The crew even complimented my PO.. I'm anticipating delivery of my new watch really soon. Thank you all for the knowledge I've gained over the last year or so.

 

first what? service case? catalog? magazine? cleaning cloth? where's the watch??!!!

 

I know right. I hoping to have it later this evening or tomorrow so that I can post pics.

I just received my sub (114060). I have to say I'm really impressed with the quality. I was torn between the submariner and the submariner date.

Well, you got the no date part right! Congrats.

 

Not a Rolex guy but I've seen this mentioned numerous times. Is the logic the no date makes it more difficult to identify it is a Rolex? If so, care to expand on the reasoning?

 

At least for me that's not the reason, I just don't like the cyclops look at all.

 

I'm the same, I think that these just look cleaner without the giant weird bulge.

 

It's just a personal preference. Some Rolex people love the date window cyclops and can't imagine their Rolex without it.
