Hi guys new to the forum , just took collection of my first omega and thought i would put up a couple of pics.
Nice Planet Ocean Calibre 8500, they're a great watch, I'm sure you'll get many decades of solid use out of it!
cheers guys, sorry about the poor pics didn't have my camera to hand il be putting some better ones up soon. the planet ocean is a massive upgrade on my tag heuer aqua racer .
Don't think so, if you draw a line from 4 to 10 and extend to the vv, it doesn't quite intersect the centreline of the vv. And on a real one, the plane of the vv isn't perpendicular to the line. The more up angle on the face shots the more pronounced the "lines up with 10" illusion is.
To be honest not really I found the metalic numbers a bit plain it was between this one and the orange bezel but after trying them both on I decided on the ceramic. The orange was just not subtle enough for me.
Oh boy, that's a really, really nice PO. IMO it is ready made classic right out of the box. I'm in the market for the same watch and I'm debating between the orange or metallic numerals. I know I can't go wrong either, but tough decision. They both wear beautifully on the wrist. Enjoy it in good health for decades to come. Sorry just had to post some more comments....
