Bought this Seamaster Diver 300M two weeks ago after a summer of trying on and researching different watches. I wanted a diver I could wear everyday, to both the office and to lunch on the weekends. My decision came down to the Tudor Pelagos, the Breitling Superocean Heritage, and the SMP300. After trying on the Omega the size, fit and bracelet felt perfect on my wrist and I absolutely love the wave dial and the helium escape valve - reminds me of the old Bond movies. I鈥檝e worn it everyday for the past 14 days and plan on wearing it for many more in the future 馃榿

They only had the pin buckle at the AD when I bought it - I had no idea about the deployant option! Just got off the phone with the boutique in town and I will be receiving a large blue strap with the buckle soon, thanks for sharing 馃榾

He's right, the deployment is the most comfy. I have a few different deploy strap options for my omegas and have even used them on non omega watches due to comfort on my wrist.
Congratulations on the new wrist bling! She's a beaut'

I just think it looks neat! I have no real practical use for it, but imo it looks cool and James Bond had one so why can't I? 馃槑

Yep, and if you ever get into decompression diving you will be set. You got to let that helium escape before your watch floats away. This is especially important with the titanium cased models. 馃槈

Congrats on the new watch Mister 2fifty3 馃憤

Seamaster AT GMT

I love everything about this watch. Except鈥he weight. I had the dark face for a year. It was my only Omega, and I thought it was amazing. It just felt too heavy on my wrist. Admittedly, I favor, and am used to titanium and ceramic watches.

The white looks even better, and I suppose that led me to a white face Speedy Racing. While the numbers don鈥檛 look dramatically different, my experience wearing it has been night and day.

I miss the GMT 150 a bit, as I think it is capable of being three watches in one. A great design and classy look by Omega. I wish I could have held on to it, but I was already passing it over for other watches in my stable; a sure sign that it just wasn鈥檛 meant to be.

Love Omega, and the Seamaster is iconic.

Love is maybe a strong word, but look at the HEV like Lara Crofts utilitybelt. It makes beauty, just a little bit tougher.

Do you see what I mean?
